What Causes Excessive Sweating In The Intergluteal Cleft?

Question: I have searched hard and long for some answers. It seems I keep hitting dead ends. I have went on countless forums online and have read posts of people with similar issues. I would like you to have an OPEN MIND about what could be causing my problem and what I could do to address it. I have already met with two Gastroenterologist's and a neurologist. It is not my diet or anxiety or any digestion related issues. For about 12 months now I have had this weird perspiration (sweating) that occurs around my natal cleft before I get the urge to have a bowel movement. It is almost as if when stool enters my sigmoid colon near the rectum that this perspiring begins. It is frustrating because the sweat can be seen through my boxes and sometimes on my pants. It STOPS immediately after I have my movement. Its almost like turning off a switch. When the urge comes on I begin to perspire in this region and when I go it stops. Here is a post from someone years ago with a similar issue:

"I have the same problem. I never had a problem until a couple of years ago and I'm 40 now. Mine is definitely sweat and is on the upper part of my butt cheeks. The whole back of my underwear will get soaked. If I have to go to the bathroom it will get really bad. Even as I'm going to the bathroom I can put my hand on my extreme lower back/upper ass and feel the sweat pouring. It also feels very hot but the rest of my body is not hot or sweating. It is extremely frustrating"

I have tried to reach out to others online but have had no luck. Your advice recommendation would be greatly appreciated. Again....I know its not anxiety because this occurs in settings when I have absolutely no anxiety at all. I eat a clean diet (mainly veggies and lean protein). Im physically fit and in overall good health. Thank you and PLEASE KEEP AN OPEN MIND.

Brief Answer:
Use Aluminium Chlorohydrate lotion

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Localised sweating is a common problem.
It is not related to any disease.
Gut movement associated with sweating is due to localized nerve stimulation.
I treat such cases with Aluminium Chlorohydrate lotion to be applied twice daily.
This lotion blocks sweat glands locally and prevents sweating.
It is safe and effective and usually available over the counter.
You can try this.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.

Thank you Dr. XXXXXXX I know you probably are not supposed to "endorse" any products but are you familiar with a brand of lotion that I should look for. Even if its very costly Id prefer to use something very effective and would rather not waste time researching online. Also, Im assuming it should be safe to apply it to the "natal cleft" area. Thank you.
