Question : 71 yo diabetic type 2 , blood glucose 151, sweating more than usual

I have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns.
For how long you are suffering from it? Are you using insulin or tablets? Tell me about the dose and type of insulin? Type of tablets? Any other issue like thyroid? Is is blood sugar value is fasting or random?
Sweating with palpitations in diabetic patient do points towards the hypoglycemia ( low blood sugar). You have to answer above questions so that appropriate plan can be sorted out.
Do take small frequent meals to prevent hypoglycemia since it us dangerous. Apart from it, do check your thyroid hormones levels.
