Question : I sweat uncontrollably, it's NOT menopause!!!! My hair gets sopping wet just doing simple tasks inside my home in air conditioning. I've had my thyroid checked and although I have thyroid disease in my family, my thyroid shows normal. I also have a reddish, purple colored rash on my arms, face, legs and chest. My internal medicine doctor has checked for lupus which turned up negative. Any suggestions? The sweating is really causing me pro in my daily life.
Where's my answer, I paid???)?

Brief Answer:
Autonomic overactivity
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
The excessive sweating is likely to be due to autonomic overactivity. The autonomic nervous system controls involuntary actions including sweating. Although a bit cumbersome, I would insist you not to intervene as relief is unlikely. Glycopyrolate could have been most effective but you have already tried it. Rather I would insist you to take ORS (Oral rehydration solution) to replenish the lost water and salts.
Please upload an image of the rashes and I would guide you accordingly.
