Question : I have a friend 60 who has lost 35 pound in 3 weeks and has a loss of appetite and diarrhea

He has to be thoroughly examined, as such drastic weight loss occurs in severe inflammatory diseases or malignancies.

He may need a colonoscopy to find out the cases of diarrhea. Also, need investigations to rule out any serious inflammatory process going on.

I is best you advice him to consult his physician at the earliest.
