Question : Hi,
I have been suffering for months now with the following issues: 1. complete exhaustion accompanied by insomnia I've been on ambien for many months how. sometimes it works sometimes nothing. My Endocronologist has put me through 2 tests to determine if my intestines were working properly as I began having days of vomiting and unable to evacuate at all. Tests reveal I was not digesting my food any way near normal. Put me on regalin for the nausea, that's about all that could be done. Does anyone feel this could be a thyroid issue, if so, what options do I have.
Thanks for the time (hope this made some sense!)

Brief Answer:
Hypotyroidism is possible
Detailed Answer:
Good day,
Noted your concerns.
Hypothyroidism does cause slowing of intestines which can cause nausea, vomiting and constipation. It is not clear which tests were done by the endocrinologist. Could you please let me know which tests was that?
It may be good to do a Thyroid function test and a fasting glucose test.
