Question : Hi Doc,
I have having extreme dry skin on my stomach and butts. This is also darkened a bit on those places. My history is that I got acute Hepatitis A in October but now I have recovered. Around July, I started getting itchy Acne on my back which was probably because liver was not functioning well and after a couple of months I was sick. Acne is almost fine since my LFTs are normal now but a bit itchy when I come back from work and remove my clothes. I think it is also dryness only. I was on Udiliv 300 for 3 months so maybe it can be because of that I have this dry skin. I am also attaching a photo. can you please help.

Brief Answer:
Extremely dry skin ,take treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
I have seen the attached pictures .
You surely have an extremely dry skin .
Such a skin type can occur due to liver diseases and even due to other causes like weather change or nutritional deficiencies.
I would advise you to mix and apply clobetasol lotion along with elovera cream twice daily over the affected areas .
Apply olive or coconut oil over the affected areas after bath daily .
Take oral multivitamin supplements for atleast one month .
Use a hydrating soap or a moisturising body wash for taking bath .
I am sure as your liver will regain the lost strength ,the skin type will also improve.

Thanks Doc. another question that might be a little irrelevant to skin here. I have been going to the gym before that but since October that I fell sick I have been doing no physical activity other than normal day to day work. Since my LFTs are normal now, can I go to the gym and swim sometimes?
