Question : My husband was just put on lopressor 50mg BID . He takes diltiazem 180 mg and losarten 50 mg once a day. Now he's feeling extremely tired. BP 133/67 , pulse 51.

Hi,

Lopressor (Metoprolol), diltiazem and losartan together can lead to electrolyte imbalance and that can make your husband feel extremely tired. I would insist you to give him juicy fruits like citrus fruits, and bananas since they contain plenty of potassium. I will also insist you to give plenty of fluids. Hopefully things would be fine soon.
