Response to treatment in such cases takes time
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome HCM health forum!
I am Dr. V XXXXXXX Sr Consultant Dermatologist.
I have assessed the problem and feel that it takes a long time before one experiences good results in such cases.
However, from the description, I could not learn whether the steroids are being given for local or systemic/oral use.
An additional measure is outlined here-under which should be of great help in early recovery:
Hair stimulants like FOLICA or comparable preparations have been found to aid recovery. This should be applied as one to two drops each area of the size of a fingertip twice daily for at least six to eight weeks with an applicator avoiding direct touching with fingertip.
I believe this information helps your early recovery
Our best wishes!
Regards
