Question: I have had facial pain like an ache with a prickly feeling (in my left cheek and around my left eye) with watery eye for about 18 months and have also suffered from chronic sinusitis over many years (resulting in surgery for deviated septum as well as washing out of the sinuses from time to time) The ophthalmologist cannot find anything wrong with my eye What could be the cause and which type of specialist do I need to see?

Brief Answer: Looks like neuralgic pain.consult neurologist/ENT Detailed Answer: Dear sir/madam, By analyzing your history, seems like you are having neuralgic pain. Probably involving trigeminal cranial nerve. Your sinusitis is not related to present problem. Consult a neurologist/ENT specialist for further need. Don't worry, your symptoms can be controlled with drugs. Hope you find this informative.
