What Causes Facial Swelling While Treating Kidney Cyst?

Question: hello.... i am the patient of prostate.and both kidney cyst by birth. so the doctors recommend me alfoo 10 mg before 12 days . after sometimes i feel that i am facing the swalling problem on face. what is the solution fro this ??????

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have been diagnosed to have Enlarged prostate and been prescribed Alfuzocin 10 mg per day. and has noticed swelling (Puffiness )of the face .

The puffiness of the face is not due to side effect of Alfoo but can be due to deranged kidney function and needs to be investigated .

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Serum PSA.
4) Kidney function tests.

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
