What Causes Fainting Feeling During Pregnancy?

Question: Hi,

I am 29 weeks pregnant, from last few weeks occasionally I felt like fainting and which used to vanish after an hour or so. Is there is anything to worry about?

Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) It is unlikely to be any major problem.

2) This happens when you suddenly get up from sleeping position or change of position. This is postural vertigo probably.

3) Avoid sudden changes in position and see if it improves.

4) Get complete blood count to rule out anemia which is another reason for such fainting.
