What Causes Fainting Spells And Black Outs?

Question: I've had these fainting spells ever since I was 13 years old the symptoms are blacking out and that my lips go white before I pass out . I would like to know what's causing that and how can I stop it from getting worse?

Some heart conditions like disturbance in rhythm of heart or some structural defect in heart or some heart valves malfunction etc
Anaemia
Dehydration.
Disturbance in electrolyte balance etc.
