Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.
The clinical history of the event you have mentioned here probably indicated that you had an episode of seizure.
Please tell(after reconfirming with your wife) whether you also had-
frothing from mouth? Did she observe any jerky movements of your hands or turning of neck?
Further,in how much time you regained your consciousness?Did you suffer any injury?
and lastly, did you ever had an event in life where you lost your consciousness for few minutes?or similar event in life?
I shall be glad to have you in follow-up with above details.
Regards
Dr.Ajay Panwar,

I have replied with the details yesterday, and I have not heard from you,
in case it did not reach you and I am going to do this again.
I have checked with my wife and confirmed as the following:
1) No frothing from mouth
2) No jerky movements of hands or turning of neck
3) I regained consciousness within two minutes
4) I have taken aspirin and ibuprofen to reduce fever
MRI Brain/EEG/Blood investigations
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing further details.
Though not typical, but the clinical event you had is close to a seizure.Another less likely differential can be a syncopal attack.
For now,I would suggest you to get a 'MRI of Brain with contrast' along with an 'EEG' study.
At the same time, you should get these blood investigations-
1)Serum electrolytes
2)Hemogram
3)Blood sugar
and importantly, you should be on adequate fluids intake.Take atleast 3-4 litres of fluids per day.
Please get back to me after getting the investigations done.
For now,if you have any further questions, please follow-up.
