Question: My urine shows 2600 of morphine? I have NEVER taken morphine? I take hydrodone and imitrex for headaches. I have an 'old' prescription of lorcet 10/650 that I take sometimes. My dr. will have to stop my meds due to this...I'm just trying to figure out what is causing this false positive?

Hydrocodone is a narcotic analgesic which belongs to the same group of morphine i.e., Opioid group.

Hence, Hydrocodone seems to be responsible for giving the FALSE POSITIVE test for Morphine.
I, therefore advise you to consult your doctor to use an effective alternate drug for your migraine headache.
