Question : I have been prescribed amphetamine salt combo 10 mg 2 x a day for adhd . Is it normal to feel more tired and lethargic with this medication ? Should I consider asking my dr to switch my medication to another type of adderral.

Feeling lethargic and tired after amphetamine use is not a common side effect but can occur in few patients. If this side effects continues for more than two weeks it is time to change the dose first and than medication. For example after discussing your doctor dose can be decreased to 15 mg for few days. In case this does not help you there is need to change for another medication for ADHD.
