Brief Answer:
Supportive care, fluids intake only

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern, With colons full of stools in diverticulitis and diverticulosis, ideal initial management is stick to fluids diet for 72 hours at least meanwhile doing all efforts to clean the bowels with enemas, suppositories, laxatives, manual evacuation if needed along with prompt use of broad spectrum antibiotics. And even after 72 hours fluid diet should be slowly exchanged with bland diet to solid one over 7 to 10 days. I am sure it will help in bowel cleaning. You can also dilute your oral fluids with mannitol and use that as well it will work both as fluid intake and clearing bowel.

I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
