Question : Hello again, Dr. Tayal. I was interested how you would attribute the occasional sensations I experience that feel like short electric shocks on the top of my foot above the big toe that had the posterior tibial transfer. Is it a direct result of arthritis in the knee, or something else?. I only get them occasionally, and if I move my foot or leg they stop. Bur it is rather annoying. Thanks.

Thank you. I will discuss getting a prescription from my doctor. I hope he will agree to give it to me. What is the physiological cause that makes it come and go sporadically on the top of my foot, and is it related to my ankle or knee problem??
