Question : I have a feeling of fluid in my chest, like a quiver or flutter but it feels like fluid maybe...no pain...just causing minimal cough but im not coughing anything up. it has been going on for well over a week and seems to be getting worse as the days pass. i just finished a medrol dospak for an allergic reaction, but this was going on before the reaction
Brief Answer:
get done chest x ray.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
Since you have taken medrol (methyl prednisolone) tablets, possibility of lung infection is there. Methyl prednisolone is an oral steroid. This can cause immunosuppression and chances of infection are higher.
So I advice you to get done chest x ray first. If this comes normal, no need to worry much.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health.
Thanks.
