Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
The feeling you have in the throat is due to an acid reflux from your stomach.
There are several causes and contribution factors. A decreased tone f the lower esophageal sphincter which prevents the acid from entering the esophagus is a common cause. Obesity, tight clothes, aerated or caffeinated beverages, acidic or spicy food are all causes.
Anxiety is a common cause for such symptoms.
Relax, eat healthy, bland food. Do not lie down for 2 hours after food or fluids.
You can take Gaviscon or other anatcids, as these often give relief.
If these do not help or if the symptoms are getting worse with time, it is better to see a gastroenterologist and have yourself examined.
