Question : I have a question about something I feel just inside my rectum. About an inch inside, on the upper side, there is a slight irregularity I can feel.
It does not feel hard. I wouldn't even describe it as a clearly distinguishable polyp. It just feels like a soft irregularity. Should I be concerned? What would cancer feel like?

From what you are describing, what you feel might be internal hemorrhoids, especially if you :
- suffer of constipation
- or have family history of colon cancer
- or even when practicing anal sex.
