Brief Answer:
Supportive care

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Feeling of something stuck in throat with soft lumpy feeling making you gag is likely a mucus plug. Post nasal dripping, acid reflux, recent cold or sore throat can cause this. All you need to do is supportively treat these symptoms. Warm salt water gargles, garlic water mouth rinses, steam inhalation, frequent blowing and emptying of nose, warm comforting beverages like green tea or herbal tea mixed with honey etc, fluids intake will clear the pathway. Dont try to throw it out by mouth unless its easy to spit or else it would trigger gagging further. Nothing to worry about, it happens all the time and will resolve with slight supportive care.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
