Brief Answer: neuropathy Detailed Answer: Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic Neuropathy refers to altered structure or function of the nerves. It can be central (related to the brain or spinal cord) or peripheral (related to nerves outside of the brain or spinal cord). Neuropathy presents with altered or abnormal sensations such as the vibrations you are experiencing. Other possible symptoms are tingling, sticking sensation, burning, numbness, heaviness, sharp sensation. There are different possible causes, in most persons the symptoms may resolve on their own in a few days to 2 weeks and the cause is not known. Possible causes of neuropathy are: (1)trauma - sometimes even slight trauma can cause nerve related discomfort (2)vitamin deficiency particularly vitamin b12 and folate (3)exposure to toxins (4)thyroid disease (5)diabetes (6) some autoimmune diseases (7)liver or kidney disease (8)idiopathic- cause is not known You can consider monitoring the sensation for at least 24 to 72 hours unless it is very disturbing, in which case your doctor can give you medication to help. If it does not resolve or worsens, then you can consider visiting your doctor for an assessment which would include physical examination to determine the nerves involved and investigations. I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
