Brief Answer:
Fever is not unusual
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. Vaccination that includes DPT often gives rise to fever with shivering. Giving dolo or paracetamol or tepid sponging is the mainstay. The dose depends what the body weight. I would request you to let me know the body weight. Based on that I would guide you further. You need not worry. Hopefully it will be back to normal in a couple of days.
Regards
