Question : Ok. I've had this "thing" for the last couple weeks. Started with chills and fever. Became sore throat with feeling of chest congestion. That turned to sinus congestion...but every afternoon, I have low energy, feel a little feverish. Also, my ears feel slightly plugged. Any thoughts on what it might be or how long it will last. I'm tired of feeling run down.

Thank you for the query.

Your symptoms seem to be caused by some kind of infection. It might be chronic sinuses infection, ear infection or even bronchi infection.
Exact location of it can be verified by physical examination and chest x-ray. Blood work should be done as well. Antibiotic seems necessary.
It would be good to consult laryngologist.
