What Causes Fever And Inflammation In Mouth After Having Unprotected Sex?
Question: Is my hiv tests conclusive. Do I need further testing.
I have had unprotected sex with a sex worker in Bangkok 5 months before. Since then I have tested in XXXXXXX Lanka asiri hospital. My test results are as follows.
1. After 22 days. Hiv meia test for hiv1 and 2 . Negative. Rt-pcr rna for hiv1 and 2. Not detected. Rna test detects more than 100 copies .
2. After 41 days same tests done. Same result.
3. After 89 days same tests done. Same result.
But after 4 months I have fever. Fever comes and goes at night. Body aches. Bad feeling back of neck. Bad feeling armpit. Difficulty in upper mouth. Inflammation in mouth. I have rashes which look like pinpoints mostly dark brown. Pinpoints very small. My skin is very dry. I am loosing weight. My questions are
1. Am I infected with hiv. If not what might the cause be for these symptoms. As I got after from Bangkok.
2. How much I can rely on the pcr rna tests. Will the test detect all subtypes.

But doctor I have tingling sensation all over my body. In my lymph nodes which comes and goes. my neck is little swollen . when I touch them on my neck it pains little. Most painful is the lymph at the bottom of my neck. I have strep throat even. I feel burning sensation in my mouth and in neck. I have burning sensation in my skin. mostly upper arm. even my eyes have the burning feeling. and on the roof of the mouth it pains. although I eat I am loosing weight fast. I have never ever experienced these kind of things my whole life.
