Brief Answer: Continue antibiotic and add antiinflammatory Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for your query. There looks to be a gap of almost 7 weeks between surgery and the appearance of fever and swelling at the site of generator. This is bit difficult to explain that the swelling after such a long gap. Anyways- I think you are on a correct antibiotic Cephalexine and is most suitable for the subcutaneous infection. The good thing is fever is gone means the antibiotic is working well. You may please add a tablet like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac in three times a day doses ( if it suits well- you not allergic to it). I hope to see the results within a few days. Please complete the course of 5 to 7 days / till the swelling resolves completely. Take a full bed rest. It helps in early recovery.
