Question: Hi, I have Lupus, Fibromyalgia and high bp among some...I've had seven abd surgeries, most recently, bowel obstruction and abd hernia reconstruction. I've had diarrhea, severe abd pain on bottom and right side. Fever, night sweats and now swollen lymph nodes in groin area. All very painful. I hate ER's ... I do not have a gallbladder or appendix...help, should I go to hospital?

But don't worry, I will Start you with the oral rehydration (Pedialyte) many a times daily to replenish fluids and electrolytes in body. it will revitalize you and you will start feel not-sick.

Take Oral Rifaximin (Xifaxan) 200 mg antibiotic 3 times a day for 3-5 days (a prescription is needed from your physician).

In dietary measures, bananas, rice, applesauce, toast is you diet to start with. Introduce lean meats and clear fluids as soon as you feel a little better. If you start taking lactose-containing dairy products, be alert Ms. XXXX, for any symptoms of malabsorption.

Add Tylenol 2 tablets per oral twice daily for fever.
