Question : Hi my wife is 37th week pregnant and is having fever since last night. She is having sore throat and body ache too. last night fever wss 99 but today morning its 100.5. today being sunday our regular gyne is off and her phone is going unanswered.

please suggest if there is a safe medicine for fever in pregnancy of 37 month.

also impact of overnight fever on baby.

Helli Mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
I understand your anxiety about the issue.
Give her tablet azithromycin 500 mg one tablet daily for 3 days.
Along with this give her tablet paracetamol 650 mg three times a day which will relieve fever and body aches too.
Also ask her to take warm saline gargles 2-3 times a day and avoid cold beverages.
Also avoid spicy and fried food.
This will give her good relief and she will be fine soon.
