Seems to be increased acidity due to the medicines.

Hi Pmehirsh,
Thanks for choosing Health care magic for your concern. I have read your query, would try to help you out of your problem.
You have a bad cough with fever 101. 7 degrees... which indicates the it's infection. Augmentin is a good antibiotic for respiratory tract infection( Though it controls the infection it does not help in management of fever & body ache that accompanies it ) ... so you were offered Dolo 650 along with the antibiotic.
Both the pills made a high potency dose.. which when taken on an empty stomach / comparative starving state due to lack of appetite in fever ... caused hyper acidity & vomiting. You have not mentioned your age... in elderly people with poor digestion/diet or already with complaints of acid peptic disease, heart burn - may get same reaction to any other drug when not taken with care.
* In such condition, you should remain on an empty stomach for a couple of hours followed by sips of water or milk at room temperature . & gradually move to bland snack like a bread slice / biscuit.... When you are sure you can digest.. eat a light meal & then Take a pill of Histac 300 ml along with the Half pill of Dolo 650 / or a pill of Paracetamol 500 mg & Augmentin .... which mostly would be digested & would give you relief. Continue with the treatment advised with Histac 300 mg twice a day half an hour before the dose of antibiotic & Dolo pill( to be confirmed by treating physician) .
* In case you can not digest anything/ vomiting continues or fever rises higher... you should move to your treating doctor / ER for assessment of dehydration if any, with needful IV fluids & Injection to control vomiting , fever & IV Augmentin as a starter dose to be followed by oral medication with antacid .
I hope that answers your query. Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks.
