Brief Answer:
fundus scopy to rule out retinal detachment.

Detailed Answer:
I would like to know if you have history of diabetes. If you have checked for refractive status.

I would perform fundus examination / indirect ophthalmoscopy to examine peripheral areas of retina. Retinal detactment if any needs to be ruled out. I suggest you consult an ophthalmologist and discuss about this possibility.
