Question : This morning I notice many more floaters in my right eye - some large ones and many tiny dots.

Please go in to ophthalmologist or ER now.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

If you are noticing a "shower" of floaters, i.e. many more than usual, please go in to be seen now. It can indicate a tear or detachment of the retina. If you can't get in to be seen by an ophthalmologist right now, then go to the ER.

I am sorry no one responded to your question earlier. I just got on the website right now. But please go in right now. Prompt treatment can decrease the extent of damage.

It may not be a tear, but there is that possibility so it needs to be checked.
