Brief Answer:
I'll need more information

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

please describe "flu like feeling" in more detail. For example do you have a runny nose? Stuffiness? Fatigue? Myalgias (muscle pain) ? What else?
Do you have a history of sinusitis?
Are you having vaginal discharge as well? Have you been checked for vaginitis? Is the inflammed area painful?
Please provide the information I've asked for and any tests results you might have.
I'll be waiting for your input.

Kind Regards!

Hi Doctor,

The flu like symptom i mentioned was really runny nose and sneezing. As far as i know I dont have sinusitis. And when this flu coming around once (a day or two) almost every 3-4 weeks it will come with the earache as well.

i do not have vaginal discharge or vaginitis. When i was pregnant the doctor thought it was something related to pregnancy and i was given pessary etc but they necer work i just did not persue it as the dr said it will disappear after i had the baby. It is just bright red and itchy.

Thank u in advance for your help.

Brief Answer:
Check for allergies

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

a flu syndrome of that short duration is uncommon when viruses are the cause. Allergic reactions to certain allergens or irritants may cause symptoms from the nose or the labia or various areas of the skin. You should try to remember if you come into contact with potential allergens or irritants when the symptoms appear (nose symptoms). For example do you regularly visit friends or relatives with pets? Or have you come into contact with a new chemical substance like a new deodorant or a new detergent etc.
The labia are very sensitive to chemical substances and may react with inflammation. Watch out for inappropriate soaps or other chemicals. Note particularly if you've used anything for the first time right before the symptoms started.
Since you're having labial inflammation for long enough, I suggest you visit a gynecologist who will be able to assess your condition better in a clinical encounter.
With the information you've provided, I don't see an obvious connection between the symptoms.
If not contraindicated, you can try an antihistamine to see what happens. If your symptoms are allergic in nature then the antihistamine will make them better.
I hope you find my advice helpful!
If you'd like further information, please let me know. I'll be glad to help more.

Kind Regards!
