Question: WE have had, flu like symptoms, cold chills, shakes, then fever. This leads to thirst, lack of eating full meal, just eat half or just pick. Then Our guts gurgle loud enough that we hear each other, in bed ,on the couch. they run to bath room. feel we have to go #2 fast. Sometimes just gas (bad,sewer) other times raisin size body waste, then hours later? Oh boy a mud-gush, of food we just ate 6-10 hours before, look not digested well can still rek- con- ise the produce salad or veg. We take medicine for anxiety/depression, no problem. Last week I got what they office called Trush, (it felt like marshmallow mouth and throat. took medicine for two weeks, gone, Now my spouse has it, where in the world does this come? food, grocery carts, door knobs,?? We have both seen family D.O. and said it could be just what is running around called "gasenology" Really? we never felt so weak, ache, dehydrated, tired, hard to concentrate, or hear clear.

I have gone through your question very diligently, I will try to help you out in best possible way.

At the outset I would advise you for a battery of investigation like CBC, ESR, liver function test, blood sugar and urine culture as well as stool test for ova cyst or protozoa and an ultrasound abdomen if need be.

You should take antiacidity medicine like pantoprazole or ranitidine group of drugs with antacids for 4-5days and you may require ofloxacin and ornidazole group of drugs for possible future infection.

Thrush is suggestive of low immunity and if it's a chronic problem than I would advise you for HIV and HBsAg testing as well.

You should take healthy diet consisting of lots of fresh fruits and vegetables with dietary fiber supplement.
Have lots of fluids like ORS lemon water and fruit juices to maintain good hydration and counter electrolyte imbalances.

Relaxation exercises,yoga and meditation will definitely help you in relieving stress and anxiety or depression which might be affecting your overall health and well-being.
