Question: Dear Sir,
All of sudden, when i woke up my wife around 1 o'clock in the night for giving me medicine i found that she could not stand own of her own and collapsed 2 times with complained about giddiness/shivering with sweating as next step i observed her lower BP was 61 and 64 both the occasions with the gap of 15 mins internal. She drink at least 3 glasses of water and asked me to switch on the ceiling fan as she was quite uncomfortable but after 30mins again when i checked up the BP it was 76/119 this time and she was normal around 2 o'clock. It gives me worry as she never had this kind of problem in the past but her BP was always <65 range for quite few years, she is not taking any medicine for that.

I would like to know the reason behind the whole scenario which happened last night with complete line of treatment and medical tests required so that i can relate it to some problem or deep sleep syndrome due to which she could not make sense what happened. Please help and provide details urgently as i am restless.

Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Looks like need an urgent evluation

Detailed Answer:
Does not look like it would be related to sleep. It seems like real syncope which needs to be worked up. Generally lower BP going to 65 or even lower should not produce syncope. what was her upper BP? does she have diabetes or any neuro illness in the past? Did she have any loose motion or vomiting? Over strain at work or stress?
From the information provided I can suggest you to have Hb, Blood sugar, ECG and echo done.Based on the reports we can take it forward

What medicines and food diet she should have?
Also advice precautions and homely treatment in case of urgently.

I will upload the medical report therefore please have this open for 3-4 days.

As per the examination done by physician the symptom is vasovegal attack which is common when you standup from sleep without taking 2min rest, need your opinion here.

Do I need to take this any serious or its due to hypotension? Current she is taking multi vitamin capsules.

Brief Answer:
Possibly, Yes It is most likely to be vasovagal

Detailed Answer:

It is likely to be vasovagal but vasovagal happens in some particular situations such as when a person is in pain or very anxious or to be specific reached at a mentally/physically stressful state.

If such circumstances were present than its ok or else we need investigation reports.

Please upload the reports so that I can comment further.

Brief Answer:
It must be vasovagal

Detailed Answer:
These reports are generally computer generated and computer is given range Outside of which they make them bold. Just outside range is not always abnormal. your reports I have reviewed them in detail and they are normal. No specific treatment is required. just need to take some precautions such as avoiding not sleeping and sleep deprivation. stress dehydration and prolonged standing. that should help
