Brief answer.....you seem to be suffering from Gilbert's syndrome
Detailed answer....
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
Your history along with all other liver parameters being normal clearly suggests that you may be suffering from Gilbert's syndrome. It is due to lack of an enzyme in liver which is responsible for converting non conjugated to conjugated bilirubin.
It is totally a benign and a mild condition where there are generally no symptoms. Condition is usually diagnosed on routine check up.
No treatment is needed as there are no health issues involved with it. You have normal life expectancy and without any risk of any liver ailment except that you may have increased chances of gall bladder stones.
Eat a normal healthy and nutritious food.
Drink plenty of water and fresh fruit juices.
Avoid alcohol ,fatty and sugary foods, however they can be taken occasionally.
Avoid drugs like statins which can precipitate jaundice in patients with Gilbert's.
Consult your doctor before taking any medicine or any herbal preparation as they can be harmful for the liver.
I would advise you to consult a gastroenterologist who can run some tests to rule out other liver disorders and confirm Gilbert's condition.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
