What Causes Fluctuations In BP While On Wellbutrin And Olanzapine?
Question: My BP is not adequately being maintained on the following drugs:
Cartia 180mg
Wellbutrin 300mg
olanzapine 30mg
Propose changes, and write back to me. This is working for my depression and sleep troubles (hypomania?), but my BP runs around 150/90 h/r: 80 (at relaxed state). I exercise and have good health otherwise. I am about 20lbs overweight. I am one who is concerned about diet, especially for the brain.

I suggest simply increasing the dose of the Cartia (diltiazem) from 180mg to 240mg once daily. The maximum dosage of this drug is 480mg daily, so you are on a low dose with plenty of room to increase. I'm glad your depression and sleep problems are well-controlled -- there is no need to change the olanzapine or Wellbutrin.
