Brief Answer:
hypoglycemia causes;

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can understand your concern.
Blood sugar levels under 70 mg/ dl are considered low.
At females, reactive hypoglycemia is the most common cause and happens usually 3-4 hours after eating a meal reach in carbohydrates.
The treatment consists in eating often (every 2-3 hours) and small snacks (not reach in carbohydrates).
Other causes of hypoglycemia are rare and consist in hormonal deficiency (low cortisol levels, low growth hormone levels ect.).
Insulin producing tumors cause fasting hypoglycemia and the levels are under 50 mg/ dl.
So, i would recomend to try to eat often and small snacks, if the low blood sugar persist, than consult with a physician to rule out other causes.
Regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
