Question: my son has a fluid filled lump on his head since born he is now 8 months old. I notice the lump gets small when my son is crying. what might it be?

I am so sorry to hear about this fluid filled lump that you have reported. Fluid filled lumps are referred to as cysts. From birth, it could have been a malformation or something else. I will like to have an image of this so that I can se the location, its size and suggest what the various possible causes and treatment plan should be.

Has this lump gotten smaller, bigger or has it been of the same size since birth?
