Question : i have type 2 diabetis, recently my feet and lower legs to my and encluding my knees are retaining to much fluid and I also got bad case of chills from it. what can I do about chills or what is causing it.is it my diabetis doing it. if so how can I get rid of chills.cant handle both

Lower limb swelling in diabetics can be due infection (cellulitis), kidney or cardiac disease, peripheral neuropathy etc. Chills is usually seen in infection. So is your leg swollen, warm and red? Then it is due to cellulitis.
I suggest you to consult a physician and do few blood tests:
Fasting and after food blood glucose, HbA1c, kidney function tests, calcium, phosphorus, albumin, urine analysis and CRP. This will give a clue on what is going on.
