Question : Hello Doctor, I am 66 yrs old woman, relatively in good health. Tirst time in my life my knees have retained fluid, and I am searching for natural remedies. My one doctor prescribe Ibuproofen which i take 1x3, the orthopedic dr prescribe oxipreson or so which I refuse to take due to working and i need my brain to function

Oxaprozin won't affect your brain function,it's NSAIDs....

I have gone through your question and understood your concerns.

You are reporting to be facing fluid retention in your knees. This might be due to bursitis or arthritis. X-ray can help in determining the right diagnosis.

You are also saying that you have consulted orthopedist who advised to take oxaprozin (this is the drug in my records, I could not find any drug under the name oxipreson).

Both ibuprofen and oxaprozin are anti-inflammatory drugs called NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).

It won't affect your brain function.

If I was your caring doctor would also encourage to follow physiotherapy on regular basis as it will help improve the symptoms.
