Question : I have several symptoms which have been occurring off & on for the last few years…
I am female, 40 years old & eat well & try & exercise every day but it is tough as I am exhausted, foggy in the head, have palpitations, headaches, muscle aches, joint pain, forgetfulness, nausea, diarrhoea, swollen gland, earaches, constant sore throat, blocked ears, pins & needles sometimes. I live on a farm & over the years have been bitten by ticks… My blood pressure is normal, I am not diabetic, my thyroid function is normal & I am not menopausal. What is wrong with me?

Brief Answer:
Sinusitis and Laryngopharyngeal reflux...

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query and elaborate history. I'll try my best to help you with this problem.

The symptoms you have described could be related to sinusitis and laryngopharyngeal reflux secondary to acid reflux disease. Both of these conditions needs to be further evaluated to confirm the diagnosis.

Ear block, throat pain, fogging of the head, exhaustion and headache are all related to sinusitis. Recurrent sore throat and exhaustion could be secondary to laryngopharyngeal reflux.

My suggestion to you is to consult a good ENT specialist and an internist for a complete evaluation and management.

Hope I have answered your query; I'll be available for the follow up queries.
