Question : symptoms are foot drop with big toe dropping, falling, muscle spasms in leg. .Been to orthopedic surgeon for possible back surgery and he said not a back issue. Been to neurologist who doesn't know what it is.

Foot drop, toe dropping and muscle spasms all may be indicative of a lower motor neuron disease. It may be neuropathy, commonly.
Neurological examination and Nerve conduction studies may be of help in this regard.
Do you have any known disease?Diabetes commonly involves nerve damage.
Further, are you on any medications?If yes,please list them. Some medicines may cause nerve damage.
