Question : Male friend (55) diagnosed with Leiden V a year ago. Has DVT and takes Pradaxa. Unable to move one foot for 2 days. Is this a related problem? Should he be taken to Emergency?

                                    Brief Answer:
Yes it can be related.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
If he has swollen leg with pain and he is unable to move it then it can be related to deep vein thrombosis. He should be taken to emergency department. Because he has factor V mutation with history of DVT so there is chance of recurrence.
Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you very good health.
