Question : I had sex 2days ago we used condoms when he went inside of me he did rub his penis on my vagina before entering but the day after i got a really foul order and i dont have any other symptoms my period will be here in a few days .i normally have discharge but now when it comes out it stinks what could this be And y everytime i have sex this happens .HCM28097

Detailed Answer: Dear Madam, Thank you for posting your query on XXXXXXX Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that there can be a variety of reasons for foul smelling discharge . It will be difficult to point out any cause for this but we can discuss the possibilities . First will be Bacterial vaginosis in which patients report a strong fish-like odor, especially after sex It is a very common problem which affects females . Next can be yeast infection which results in curdy discharge and bad odour discharge . Trichomoniasis is also apossibilty but generally itching is present . You need to see a gynaecologist for this and a vaginal swab will be taken for establishing the diagnoisi . Only after establishing the cause treatment would be initiated . Take care. Dr. Shruti
