What Causes Foul Odor In The Navel With Yellow Sticky Discharge?

Question: My name is XXXXXXX 30 yo. 2 days ago I noticed a strange smell (like dead animal) and later on found out it came from my navel with lot yellow sticky discharge. I never experienced something like this before so I cleaned it up thoroughly and went to sleep. Next day I woke up and it discharged again and again 3-4 times a day together with low abdominal pain around the navel (feel like sore after intensive sit-ups or so - it flares up when I press it or bow down). I also do not feel hungry throughout the day as the stomach seems bloated/ballooned. I looked up online and it seems like a yeast infection (but I cannot connect the pain with this) so I try the home remedy method with white vinegar - it burns a little at the navel as I spray on and has not show any improvement yet. Can someone enlighten me of what to do next?
Thanks
Thanks
Brief Answer:
This is probably an infection. Wound care and antibiotics recommended!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about navel discharge that you have reported. I have reviewed this information fully and this is suggestive of an infection. You will need to cleanse this with an antiseptic such as Betadine and take oral antibiotics such as amoxicillin-clavulate. Communicate with your doctor on this and keep me updated.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask of more information and clarifications if need be.
