Brief Answer:
a urinary tract infection?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

a urinary tract infection is the most likely cause. You can confirm it with a urinalysis. A urine culture can be done too but it's not absolutely necessary if it's the first time you get such an infection in your life. Other symptoms you may have include a constant sensation that your bladder is full (urgency) but you can't pass any urine or you pass drops of urine only and lower abdominal discomfort.

If it's indeed a urinary tract infection then antibiotic treatment would be required. The choice of antibiotic would depend on various factors but confirmation comes first.

I hope it helps!
Kind Regards!
