Question : Hello, I am having a foul taste in my mouth. It is not all the time and it seems like it is coming from inside of my throat. I can tell you that I am a pain management patient with DSS. Have read many posts as to what this could be and I don't think it's my medicine due to the fact that I've been on it for a few years. Still don't know if I need to do something like see my doctor Monday or go to the ER?

Brief Answer:
an ENT evaluation is needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.
After reading your post, it seems that your symptoms can be due to infection in the throat region or due to poor oral hygiene.
I would suggest that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated by an ENT specialist.
Keep your oral cavity clean. Drink lots of water daily. Further medical management can be planned according to the clinical evaluation done by your doctor.
I hope this is helpful to you. If you have any further query, I will be happy to help.
Regards. Thanks.
