What Causes Frequent Bowel Movement And Bowel Movement Feeling After Passing Motion?
Question: hi doctor I was not getting free motion daily. For a brief period of 30 minutes after the motion I used get a feeling of motion and every day this process repeats 3-4 times in a day.The colour of stool varies sometimes.I was worried about this problem.Please suggest me what to do.

I understand your concern.
It seems you are suffering from Acid Peptic Disease associated with Irritable Bowel syndrome.
I would advise you to get following investigations done:
1.Thyroid Profile
2.Fasting Blood Sugar
3.Stool routine and Microscopy.
4. Ultrasound Abdomen.
If everything is normal, then you are probably suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
I would advise following in such scenario:
1. To take a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone.
2. To take soft, bland diet.
3. To take anti flatulent and anti acidity syrup like Digene.
4. To take Smooth Muscle Relaxant like Mebeverine for stomach pain.
5. Drugs like chlordiazepoxide and clidinium bromide are used in refractory cases.
However this is also important to rule out Inflammatory bowel disease in such cases.
So, get examined by your doctor. If he feels, he will get your colonoscopy done.
