Question: I have had 3 bowel movements today were the content was mostly if not all liquid bright red blood

Hi and thanks for this query.

If this was in much volumes, I recommend that you go to the hospital right away and get this checked as continued loss can lead to anemia and loss of conscious through low blood volume. If it wasn't, get a regular but pretty early appointment and get this checked out.

In the meantime, rest, drink much fluids and report any further episodes for evaluation and more guidance. At your age, you deserve a screening colonoscopy, have you planned for that already?

very little if any pain, a little gas/indigestion.

it was a decent volume on each occasion, I will go to the hospital in the morning.

I am drinking plenty of water
