Question : frequent cough is noticed so we met the doctor for refference

Most likely you have elevated eosinophil count.It may be due to allergy as you have frequent cough.
Allergy causes increase in eosinophil count.Underlying cause should be treated.You should avoid common allergen like dust,smoke etc.
I suggest proper checkup to may patients with this finding.You need proper clinical examination.Chest X-ray (PA),allergy test should also be done.Further investigations can be done if needed.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.
You should avoid sea foods as it may also cause allergy.
